Diwali!

This is something I wrote after the Diwali night, but for some reasons I never posted it here. Now that I've posted you can relate it.

I woke up early as I was all excited for this beautiful day. The couple of days before the festival are just flawless. I love each and everything about them, they are not so hot nor so cold. Pleasant just the way I love. The sunsets in these days are to die for, I never missed one. Momma always seems to be busy in cleaning the house as always. I ditched my quilt, walked away from my bed.  Someone yelled ‘’don’t you want fire crackers for this eve?’’ yes it was my dad, I quickly got into the washroom, took a bath.  My hairs still wet but I didn’t care, I was more concerned about how much I would be getting for buying the fire crackers. A puppy face did the job, I got the expected bucks for the fireworks. I headed to the shop bought some good stuff and then came back home with a wide smile on my face. I helped my mother in cleaning the house, I thought she would be impressed and would be giving some more money for the fireworks, but eventually it never happened. I gazed at the sun for a while, yes it was a beautiful Sun set. Time just seems to fly away when you enjoy watching the Sun set. I could hear the kids around bursting crackers, I ran to my room where the crackers where kept I took a few of them, lighted an ‘Agarbathi’, which is used for adding some good fragrance to the atmosphere but people here in India also use them  for lighting fire crackers. As I was heading towards the door to get out of the house with firecrackers, Momma somehow saw me and so she yelled ‘’No firecracker before the puja, keep them back’’. Mother is always the best in hearing her child’s footsteps, Sigh.  So I had to get back to my room, place the firecrackers, get back to the window and instead of Sun set see the children bursting fire crackers, Sigh. It was time for the puja to start, I was the first one there to attend. As soon as it ended I rushed to my room took the fire crackers and the Agarbathi which I’ve lighted earlier. With a big smile I rushed towards the door, getting on the road I lighted each and every one of them. I was so happy. It was now time to get back home, I was sad because the day was ending. I slept hearing the sound of fire crackers which busted miles away. I want this day to come back soon, I want to enjoy this divine feeling again and again.

Much love

Combs, Nail paints and Hair clips!

This is something which can be relatable to many teenage girls out there ;)  One of my good friend, Anshika wrote this poem. The first time I went through the poem, everything seemed to be perfect. I loved this one and wanted to blog it from a long time. It's short, but I find it perfect.
We teenage girls
Sophisticated, dominant and beautiful,
We need our hairs perfect
Nails big and posture erect
Concerned for figure,
Food quantity meager
Though we eat like elephants at home
Always found with mirror, hair clips and comb
We silly, stupid and courageous hotties
Always want to look awesome at parties
We dress up like beauties when boyfriend around
And like zombies when girlfriends around
Nail paints got to be perfect when out for a date
Gonna miss my teen hood, but I still can’t wait.

Mumbai ♥

Mumbai is rich, Mumbai is poor
Mumbai is fast, Mumbai is slower
Little bit sweet and little bit sour,
Sometimes it’s hot but not too more.

Mornings are energetic, and evenings are electric.
Noons are lazy but nights are crazy
And any one you ask says “I’m busy”
Dude, life in Mumbai is not so easy

There is a lot of Masti with a little bit of Maska
Welcome to the city that can’t live without Bollywood Chaska

From cooker whistles to the traffic jam horns,
From steaming tea kettles to breaking nut beetles
From telephone rings and doorbell rings
There are people connecting through Blackberry pings

Where there is a little time to spare for kids
People here spend their lives on bids
Here you actually pay your travel fare by meter
But milkman mixing water is not a cheater!

Sev Puri and Bhel Puri are all Mumbai chat
Relishing it with spicy chutney is no easy art
From popcorn to ice-cream all sold on cart
Mumbai o Mumbai you’re always close to my heart

Where local trains usually travel on time
And violently rushing for a seat is not a crime
Here 3pm for lunch and 12am for dine
People face hardship but still say “its fine”

From Mt.Mary in Bandra to Kalba Devi in town
And ISKCON in Juhu to Haji Ali in Mumbai’s Crown
Faith runs deep as the Arabian Sea
But people don’t hesitate to pay early Darshan fee.

Marathi, Punjabi, Gujarati and Bengali
Everyone together celebrate Id and Diwali
Spend some time here, and your life will be wonderful.

Billionaire to beggars
All found in this city
Be careful, this place is a bit witty
Overall this dream world is huge but pretty.

Choose Happiness

All that you have desired to be, you’re now. All the possession you desired in the past, you have it now.
Many of you won’t be getting this briskly but if you widen the dimensions of thinking deeply many of you would be accepting it.
Life is unchallenging, simple and facile when you live it in your own way. You have your own goals and you’re all set to follow them. There is absolutely no mess in your life. But when people charge you with taunts, you get disturbed. You’re not scared about what is going to happen next, but you’re ruffled down. You somehow forget things and start new, but then it arises again, hits you back and knocks you down. Then you realize how complicated is life. You are upset, you feel so down and you are in no mood for doing anything. But then, something comes in shining so bright that you forget everything, and you indulge in enjoying it. All the sorrows all the odds are gone now. You feel so free to do anything you desire to. That one thing is what you like and love the most. Never let it go because, the thing that you love the most will always take you to great heights. Follow your love, people may charge again but do what you feel is right to do. Feel proud about yourself. Even after you were knocked down a number of times you stood up and continued your way.  That is pride, but never get over confident about it. Live a life that you want to live not the one that others think you should live. Do it your way, as I remember a quote
"At the end of life, our questions are very simple: Did I live fully? Did I love well?" ~Jack Kornfield
Choose happiness over sorrow, be happy for what you have in your life. You’ve a great family or you must be having some loving friends or you must be having that one person or one thing that makes you say “Yes, I’ve a life ahead”.
Don’t lose them be thankful to them. You’re the chosen one, yes you’re unique, and you’re destined to do something different.

Always live on the high note, because life it too short to be sad about moronic things.

This is something raw which I wrote briskly without even thinking about the human language or any grammar. Thank you for your unconditional love and support :)
Much love

Anxiety!

So in our everyday life we meet dozens and dozens of people accidentally, or we just get introduced by some of our good friends.
Many of us experience a social anxiety when we meet someone unknowingly or who is new to you.

Unfortunately when meeting someone, our brains are in over drive. Our brains become lean and hungry. Some of us are fighting off shyness others are busy in sizing up the situation. We’re deciding what if anything we want from this potential relationship. So we think too much instead of responding. Such actions are dangerous to impending friendship, love or commence.

So, the only time we don’t need to worry about any shyness or negativity slipping out through our body language is when we feel none. That happens when we’re chatting with our close friends. Isn’t it? When we see someone we love or feel completely comfortable with, we respond warmly from our head to toe without a thought. Our lips part happily, we step closer, our arms reach out, our eyes become soft and wide and even our palms turn up and our bodies turn fully toward our dear friend.
Here’s a visualization technique that would accomplish all that. It guarantees that everyone you encounter will feel the warmth.
When meeting someone play a mental trick on yourself. In your mind’s eye see him or her as an old friend, someone you had a wonderful relationship with years ago. But somehow you lost track of your friend. You tried so hard to find your good buddy, but there was no listing in the phone book. No information online. None of your mutual friends had a clue.
That’s where the pretending stops. Obviously you are not going to try to convince the new person that the two of you are really good friend. You are not going to hug and kiss each other. You would say, “Hello” “How do you do?” “I’m pleased to meet you” But, inside it’s a very different story.

You will amaze yourself. The delight of rediscovery fills your face and rises up your body language.

Giving a compliment.

The risk in giving a compliment face-to-face is of course that the recipient will assume you are indulging in shameless pandering to achieve your own greedy goals.
It's a sad reality about compliments. If you lay a big one out on your boss, your friend, or your sweetie, the recipient will probably think you’re brown nosing. So what is the solution? Hold back your sincere esteem?

Do It Behind Their Back.

Instead of telling someone directly, tell someone who is close to the person you wish to compliment. For instance, suppose you want to be in the good graces of Gunjan. Don’t directly compliment Gunjan. Go to her close associate, say Poorva, and say “You know, Gunjan is a very dynamic woman. She gives a damn when no one else bothers about you. She is different, she is special”. Now I place ten to one odds, your comment will get back to Gunjan within 24 hours. Though exceptions are there, if it is a guy chances are there that your comment would take some more time. As they are more bothered about things which really matter. Well, it’s my view anyway.
A compliment one hears is never as exciting as the one he overhears. A priceless way to praise someone is not to chase for the moment to shoot a compliment, not by telephone, not by pinging them, not by scripting a long poem but by telling a mutual friend. This way you escape possible suspicion that you are a bootlicking, egg sucking, back-scratching creep trying to win the golden points. You also leave the recipients with the happy fantasy that you are telling the whole world about their greatness

These are my views anyway :) Comments are appreciated to make it an engaging one.

Much Love

Never quit.

Pain is temporary. It may last for a minute or an hour or a day or even a year but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place, but if you quit however, it will last forever. It’s all over, you’re spoiled. Your journey has been good and successful till this day when you’re ready to quit. Take a look back, was life that complicated for you? did life always treated you bad? Is your problem that big, which is worth of quitting everything? No, life has always been kind to you in some or the other phase. No matter how big your problem is, there are many who are there living there lives who have even bigger problems than you. Whenever you feel that you’ve played your part and it can’t work anymore, whenever you’ve lost all your hopes just say these words with power and confidence, say ‘It’s possible’.
That is all I want you to do when you look into your dream, just say these words everyday ‘It’s possible’. You say that every day to yourself ‘It’s possible’ because what does that do? See, it begins to change your believe system. So the way we are today, it’s all the product of what we believe, what’s possible for us. Whatever you’ve done up to this point all that really is, it’s a duplication, it’s a reproduction of what you believe subconsciously that you deserve and what’s possible for your life. I would suggest, do whatever you want to do but never quit. Experiencing what you want to experience, having what you want to have, doing what you want to do.
Whatever your dream is, you got to realize where you really stand. You should be saying to yourself ‘I go to bleed it, I got to eat it, I got to sleep it’ but until you get there you’ll never be successful in life. But once you get there, I guarantee you the world is yours. So work hard and have what you really want. Never stop, never quit.
The video below is simple and amazing.

Ask more to learn more.

Some things are going around you which is totally far from your senses. You may be close or may be trying  hard to get into the thing but it doesn't helps.
Take a moment relax yourself and then take a fresh start. Whenever you feel you're exhausted and you can't take it any more, ASK.Yes, it makes some difference to your state of mind. As you ask something you get to know that what you have asked is totally your question and you're more concerned about what others would be thinking about your question. This is your state of mind.
You should ask to know, not to show what you know. What happens when you ask something?
Your concentration level increases, you grasp things easier than you did sitting idle just because its your question.
Make it a habit, whenever you feel you just don't understand the thing SHOOT. Don't just care about what others will think about your question ,you should be proud that now you're going to learn more, grasp more and listen more. Let your question be as absurd as '' Is Apple a fruit?''. Just don't care about the question, feel good because now you know more than you did earlier.

Janamashtami !

The sound of the 'Dhols' woke me up. I stood up, moved closed to the window there I saw people dancing and singing. There was celebration in the streets and in the air as well.
Time just flied watching them build pyramids to get to the height and break the 'Handi'.
Many came made their pyramids and tried their luck but only some where able to make it to the top.
I was so happy I never knew what was the reason.
Happiness was all around as it was the date when lord Krishna was born.
'Janamashtami' it was.
The festival of happiness and joy.

Never think to much.

I've experienced this thing a lot. Thinking is good sometimes but not all the time for you. It's not that only I have figured out this problem, many of you must be aware of this thing.
Thinking makes you feel sick, imagining and thinking are two different things for me. It has never been the same. It has always been something good when I imagine something but when I think, it's all over.
You start addressing your mistakes, mistakes that you've done in the past and you're regretting it now.
You may be feeling all broken. Negative thoughts keeps on rushing in your mind and you will always end up creating a problem that wasn't even there in the first place. You're demotivated at the moment, but its all good. Everyone makes mistakes in there life for once you can regret it but over doing the thing may harm you.
So, rather thinking about it,  leave it to the Karma to figure it out. Keep yourself busy in some or the other work, plan your day, get busy with your schedule, hang out with your friends, text, call, chat do whatever you want but never allow your mind to float like a feather in the air.

Respect the geeks

I have dozens of cool friends that I've made in my school days. I've never been counted among the geeks, it doesn't mean that I was not good in studies. I was an above average student, good in sports, chilling out with friends. I've never imagined being a geek or a life of geek. There were many in my batch. Now that I've been alone for a while , I've experienced a lot of things .
We all consider the geeks as the weaker one or the looser . Well , I don't. I personally feel the geeks are the strongest ones, they have no friends, they are not being liked by anyone still they move on giving their best and then they are considered as geeks. Geeks are also humans, we should not hate them. Be friendly with them. Respect them.
As  Mark Zuckerberg says '' Respect geeks there are chances you would be ending up working for them''

Friends are always there for you.

Yes, they are. Just go back once to your worst nightmare and look around. Who all were there ? Most of them would be finding some unknown people others would be saying I saw God, But I see my friends around whenever I'm down or I'm going through a bad situation.  My friends make sure I'm never alone.
They are always with me no matter what the situation is. I'm blessed to have such friends. My life would've been a lot different without them.
                                                         I love them ^_^

What is blogging for me ?

'What is blogging for you ?'A sound inside my head asks this question every time I open my dashboard  for writing a blog. Now that I have an answer I'm blogging it.

Blogging is my own write up and my own views about a topic. I consider Dashboard as a Diary , I write whatever I feel I don't copy it down form anywhere, for me blogging doesn't mean to write a Blog and post it's link everywhere on my socials. I put very less efforts to do such things moreover I'm interested  in improving myself in this thing. To be honest I never knew that blogs can be viewed by anyone just by getting into the URL, I thought it must be an online personal diary where you can write and save whatever you feel and want to.I mainly write blogs on my own because years after when I see these blogs I want to be satisfied, satisfied because I've put some efforts by my side to get into this new thing and get better in it. I love the feedback that people give me after reading my blogs whether it is good or bad .

Well, people say I'm just 17 and I've way to go ahead. I would be pushing my self as far as I can .

Till the best, I will give my best

Choose wisely

I'm 17 and yeah I'm giving my Board exams this year, it's a crucial year for me. I've been studying in CBSE  since my childhood but then, just a couple of weeks before the 10th board exams I got an urge to change the board and get into a junior college and live a life that you see in the movies. Party's , hanging out with friends , getting drunk, have a healthy crowd, studious students this were the things that came in my mind when I thought of any of the junior colleges. I was bored of wearing the same uniform everyday , tired of completing a dozen of assignments and projects. It was not like , I didn't wanted to study but I wanted to enjoy the last two years happily. So, after the board exams I told my parents what it was all about and they happily agreed.
I filled the online form and applied to some good colleges in Mumbai.  A month passed and cut off list was out , basically there would be three list which would be announced in three different dates. So , in my case all the three days were terror for me, Some B graded colleges were allotted to me in all the three lists. I was down at the moment , then I tried applied offline for different colleges. Days after I lost 5 kg of weight I got the admission in Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Science, Arts and Commerce. I was all excited now.

Starting days.

I entered the college, there was hell lot of crowd I somehow managed to get to someone in the college. I asked my classroom number which I remember was Room No. 103 . He directed me to the first floor of the college, the college had the best infrastructure I had ever seen before. I entered the room, the class was all full I managed to get seat from where the teacher was audible. The day started,  different teachers came, gave their introduction and their lectures about how we should spend this two crucial years. It all got into my mind very quick as it was my first day and we all have a tendency to grasp better on the first day. The day got over and I made no friends which amazed me. I was feeling left out.

The second day as I entered my classroom, I was surprised to see there were only a few students attending the lectures it didn't bothered me that time but as the days passed I was not able to concentrate on my studies. There was no competition in college, the condition was getting worse day by day. I made no friends, never studied seriously the whole year, did all the unproductive work and in the end managed to pass. I was not satisfied. For the first time I felt I've done something wrong. I was feeling guilty, how good it would've been if I continued in my school the though haunted me till the starting of the 12th standard.

Now that I'm in 12th, I must forget all those thing and should do the best.

Advice.

My advice to all the students studying in the CBSE board and who are appearing for their 10th board exams is not to change the board. CBSE is among the best boards in the world. If you've completed your senior education from the CBSE board, chances are high that you would be able to clear the JEE and NEET entrance exams. The mistake I made was to get into a life where I can enjoy, these are the crucial years and the preparatory  years for your future. So, I would be ending my blog with the TVC commercial titles

                                        Choose wisely, live well.

It's good to be single.

Yeah, you read it right its good to be single. Some of them must be disagreeing with this, you'll never be harmed if you close this tab. It's just not your thing fella.

I've heard many people complaining about being single, personally I don't find anything wrong with it
I've have been single the majority part of my very short life and I find it good.

So, there are some reasons about why it is good to be single?

  • You don't have to buy some extra gifts on any of the occasions and empty all your pockets just to show your affection to them.
  • If you're out in general and found yourself admiring anyone's body, you don't have to feel bad  about it.
  • At the Movies you don't have to sense your verbal talks.
  • You can have a best friend of an opposite gender and there is no risk of jealousy.
  • There's no one to judge you. You can do whatever you want , you can do your own weird dance or speak some awful things which only matches with some of your friends humor.
  • You can be yourself.
  • Your pocket money is never wasted. You would always be satisfied at the end of the day.
  • You can concentrate on some better things in your life because you can find a lot of free time when you're single.
So, these are the reasons why it's good to be single unless and until you find the right one. It's all good if you're single, you're perfectly fine.
